In 2004, Eastmans´ started the Military Service Subscription Fund, (MSSF). The MSS Fund was initiated to unconditionally support our military that have been deployed overseas to serve our country and to fight the war on terrorism, by sending them a free subscription to the Eastmans´ Hunting Journal. Here we are four years later, the war goes on, and we still have family, friends, and loved ones who are placed in harms way to protect our country and the freedoms we enjoy everyday.

Send donations! Just 'Eight Bucks' is all we need to send a discounted subscription to a soldier who is deployed overseas fighting the war on terrorism and we will send a personalized thank you, including your name and address.

"I would like to say thank you for the free subscription to your hunting journal. Last year, I saw the advertisement in one of your magazines, soon after we entered the city of Fallujah, Iraq during last November's assault. I began receiving your magazine within a few weeks, prior to leaving the theater.
Reading through your magazine, it took me back to simpler times like enjoying a cold morning in the woods of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It took my mind off of the two-way hunting match that we were currently engaged in at the time. Well, I find myself again deployed in support of the Global War on Terror, but this time in Eastern Afghanistan and I received another magazine. Some of the glassing techniques in the magazine work well scanning the horizon for insurgents that are moving around on the countryside.
Maybe one day soon I'll be able to go on a trophy hunt back in the mainland U.S. Thanks again for the subscription to the magazine. "
