For years Mike Eastman has brought a series which is all big game and fair chase with a
western flare to The Outdoor Channel. With over 50 years of experience living the adventureguiding,
hunting and photographing the WestEastmans Hunting TV is deemed by the hunting public
the benchmark by which all other hunting programs are judged. The animal behavior caught on
film drives home Mikes knowledge of trophy big game and is the foundation of this long running series.
The knack of Mike and Guy Eastman to bring the viewing audience along with them, on true
high-adventure, has been tried but never duplicated.
The show not only captures the hunt but also helps the audience become better
hunters and gives them a deeper appreciation of the outdoors. It is truly a show that novice
and experienced hunters enjoy watching.
The Eastman Tradition
The Eastmans tradition started nearly 50 years ago. Gordon Eastman was a ground breaking pioneer in the outdoor/hunting film industry. As early as 1957, Gordon was producing films such as Hunting Alaska Today, High, Wild and Free and Challenging the Northwest Territories. These were widely regarded as the first films of their type.
Today, Eastmans continues to build an extremely loyal following and is proud to be ranked as one of the Top 10 programs on The Outdoor Channel. With three generations of outdoor experience to draw from, Eastmans Hunting TV stands firm with the goal of providing fair chase hunting programs which are entertaining and educational. The ...no fences here slogan is a testament of the Eastmans pursuit of trophy game on public lands or on grounds which are free of high fence boundaries.

Viewer Feedback
"I really enjoy watching your show, the tips and info are really interesting. Hopefully
one day I too can put them to use. That is my biggest dream, to hunt the big game of the

I just saw the TV show for the first time this afternoon and thought it was great! I was
beginning to think that everyone out there hunting were all using tree stands and blinds, plus
baiting their quarry with "treats". I have always practiced fair chase hunting and was glad to
see it promoted on your show!! I saw the mule deer episode and was pleased to see the
quality of the bucks. Thank you.

Hello to the entire staff at Eastmans, thank you for putting on such a great show. I
watch a lot of programs on The Outdoor Channel, but it's yours I look forward to the most. I
just wanted to tell you that when I watch your show it puts me in a frame of mind that most
captures how I feel when I'm deer hunting.
I think the things I like most about your show is; the beautiful background music, the
majestic panning video of the scenery of either the landscape or a heard of animals, the calm
demeanor of the hosts, the mentioning of ethical hunting and of course DIY hunting. No quick
frame edited pictures of kill shots, no lightning bolts and thunder, no loud rock music.
To give you a little bit of info on myself to help you understand your audience even
more, I'm 39, a small business owner, I own a trucking company with 5 trucks. I have a
household gross income of over $700,000. I'm a republican. I'm married with a 3yr old
daughter and a stay at home wife.
Keep up the work, its a great show, your friend in the field.

I just watched your show on public land hunting. As usual it was very informative. I've
been meaning to e-mail you for some time to say how much I enjoy the show. Your quote no
fences here" really strikes a cord with me. The trend on TV shows seems to be high fenced
hunts. This type of show really disgusts me. They're shooting 400 inch bulls and 200 inch
bucks that don't have the room or the wilderness to get out of a hunters way. These so called
hunters, proudly posing with their trophies, is not what hunting is supposed to be, your show
is what hunting is all about.
Thank you for such an informative and realistic show. I've never been a subscriber but
I am signing up right now. Keep up the great work. Good hunting.
